Estrogen is a female hormone, and this means that for men a significant amount of estrogen is needed to produce an adequate amount of testosterone. Estrogen is a very potent hormone, which is why it isn’t usually recommended for men to take on a daily basis. Testosterone and estrogen are not the same hormone, but it’s also not the case that testosterone and estrogen are interchangeable.
Estrogen is also used in women to reduce menopause symptoms in women, and it is used to help boost a woman’s height and her sexual attractiveness. Women who take a daily combination of these two hormones, however, should take the estrogen for a very short period of time to help control their estrogen levels. It should also be noted that this hormone is also a potent carcinogen.
This is all very interesting stuff, and the video on hormone balance is incredibly informative. I feel like I’m about to learn about the natural hormone balance that I have been missing out on for the past few years.
