why do i cough when i drink cold water

I’m sure you are thinking ‘but what else is new?’. Well, one of the main reasons why I cough up phlegm when I drink my cold water is that it is a reflexive reaction.

The coughing part is probably related, but the fact is that it’s not just a reflex. It’s actually the only reflex I have. It’s my way of purging myself of that annoying cough at the end of a long day at work.

In fact, the only reflex I have is that when I drink a glass of cold water, and I mean a glass of cold water, I immediately start coughing. Well, almost immediately after I finish drinking the cold water. That happens because the cold water has a very high water content and its the only fluid I can drink. I have to drink it while I’m still really thirsty because I don’t have any saliva or any saliva receptors to use.

Its probably not the water itself. Its the cold-water-content, so it triggers a reflex that I had never expected.

The cold water is a lot more viscous and slippery than I would have guessed. This is because when I drink cold water, my saliva and saliva receptors all shut down. In other words, I do not have enough of my body’s immune system to fight off all the germs that would normally come out with the cold water. This makes me more vulnerable to cold water-related sickness.

I do not know how long I would have to suffer from this problem. I do know it isn’t the cold-water itself that is killing me. Its the fact that I do not have enough of my bodys immune system to fight off all the germs that would normally come out with the cold water.

Some people are born with the ability to drink cold water and then learn differently. I am one of those people. I also have no idea why I do it. I do not drink it because I am lazy, because I am afraid of infection, because I am trying to stay alive. I drink it because I am thirsty.

I have no idea. But I do know that you are not to drink cold water. It is bad for you.

Well, why do you think your immune system would need to be so hardy to do what you do? The truth is that we have the tools to fight off sickness and also to heal ourselves. You are right that there are different reasons you should drink cold water, but what you don’t realize is that there is no reason at all. There is no reason to drink cold water because drinking cold water is bad for you.

If you are constantly coughing and have a sore throat, you may not be drinking enough cold water. Cold water is good for you. It is good for your whole body, not just your lungs, and can help prevent respiratory infections. Cold water is very good for your body too.
