A recent study found that almost one-third of Americans are chronically so-called “tired achy feet”, and that the condition is often linked to aging and chronic stress.
I don’t think I’ve ever been more aware of my own fatigue, and I definitely don’t think I’ve ever been more stressed out.
The title of this post is a little ambiguous.

This is one of those times in life when I feel like Ive been slapped in the face with reality. I know that the fatigue thing has been debunked, but I still feel like Ive been kicked in the face.
Yes, we all feel like weve been slapped in the face with reality. And I can assure you that it IS real. Even though we may not be able to prove it, we all know that at some point in our lives, the stress and fatigue of everyday life is taking a toll on us. And for that we need to take a moment or two to acknowledge that it is real. We cannot prevent it, but we can take the time to acknowledge that it is real.
I think we can take a moment and acknowledge that it is real because we know ourselves well enough to know that we’re not fooling ourselves. It’s not that we don’t know that we’re being fooled. We know that we’re being fooled by the people around us. They’re fooled by our inability to pay attention and manage our stress. They’re fooled by our inability to relax enough.
The truth is that we have a hard time resting and relaxing. We don’t believe that most of us have that problem. We think that we dont have it, but it’s something we really need to fix.
Stress can be caused by many things, and the main culprit is eating too many carbs. Too much carbs leads to a spike in blood sugar, which is accompanied by a rise in adrenaline. The reason this happens is because our body needs more carbs to process the adrenaline it produces. This causes our muscles to work harder, which leads to a spike in blood sugar and blood pressure. This is the reason why you feel fatigued after too many carbs.
So, the first thing that I would do in order to fix my tired achy feet is to eat less carbs and increase my blood sugar. In order to do that though, I would also need to limit the number of carbs in my diet to cut out the spike in blood sugar. I would then also need to exercise more and find a way to reduce the amount of carbs I eat.
