A little less than a year ago I gave myself a serious case of ear pain. I was in a hurry to get everything done and get to work, so I put the ear pain down to stress and took a little time to relax and breathe. I went about my day doing exactly what I had planned.
When I went to work that day I was in a state of anxious anticipation. I was so excited to get started. I was so anxious to do it right and finish everything. I was so anxious to get it done that I forgot about my ear pain.
I’m so glad I did that. I came home and started doing my usual stuff. I made sure I had everything I need to get started on my day, and then I started my ear pain. I popped the painkiller, then I played the music I always play when I’m anxious. I took a few minutes to do something relaxing and I did it even though I didn’t hear the music.
I was so anxious to do it right and finish everything. I was so anxious to get it done that I forgot about my ear pain.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: the best thing about ear pain is that you can do it while you’re supposed to be doing something else. I was at my mom’s house and I was watching tv and I heard her calling me to come and help her make dinner. I turned to see her in the kitchen with a huge pan of her favorite chicken with everything on the stove. I made a mad dash to get there, but it was too late.
Yeah, ear pain is a problem that sometimes causes a lot of stress. At least it took me until the end of my first semester of the semester to find out that the only thing that helped with my ear pain was earplugs.
I’m very curious to learn what kind of earplugs you use. My mother used to buy them at the drug store (they came with a small rubber tip and a string). But my own hearing is better now. I’m still waiting for the small tube of Neosporin to work its magic.
I did not know what earplugs were, but I can tell you that I used a tiny one at first then more and more with every day. It’s been a couple of months now and I’m still using the little rubber tip. So I don’t know where this stuff came from, but it works.
I’ve heard the phrase “hearing aids are in” from a health care professional who is not a doctor. It means that things help you to hear better. The same goes for earplugs. For years I wore a hearing aid and it served me well. But the last few years I’ve been using a tiny bit of oil in my ears for ear pain.
Its a bit of a gimmick, but I have found the oil to be really helpful for mild to moderate pain in my ears. I can’t pinpoint exactly why oil helps, but it does for me. I have heard that ear pain is related to ear wax, but it could also be that my ear wax is too thick. I have used a few different oils to try and help, but this one is the best for me.
