prospet is the term I use for anyone who has done more than a few days of meditation. Being mindful in any form is a form of self-awareness.
Of course, there are a lot of ways to meditate, but the most common method is to sit in a comfortable chair with your eyes closed and gently think about something. Mindfulness can be done in a variety of ways, but as a general rule, we tend to focus on our breathing, thoughts, and emotions. This is one of the reasons meditation is so effective at relieving stress.
It’s difficult to separate the practice of mindfulness from the practice of meditation. Sometimes we just sit and think about our breathing, other times we focus on our thoughts, or we try out various combinations of all three. And you can’t really do anything to change your thoughts, so they tend to just sit there in the background, even if you do some kind of meditation-type exercise. It’s the same with mindfulness.
One of my earliest meditation-practices involved sitting at a desk, or in a comfortable chair, and just thinking about what I was thinking and what my thoughts were about, so I could then turn those thoughts into a meditation-practice. If I was on the phone or working on a computer, I’d just think about what I needed to do and then get back to work.
I used to be so fascinated with mindfulness that I actually became quite a bit obsessed with meditation. I had a very simple meditation-practice for the first time. When I wanted to do something, I would just go to a meditation-practice and get it done. And then I would do it again.
And I have to say, it worked. Since I started meditating, I am able to make my thoughts a lot more vivid, and I have a lot more peace and clarity in my mind. I don’t have many worries or problems anymore. I could probably get by without all the stress and negativity I used to have, but I still think I need to practice mindfulness to be able to deal with stress and stress-related problems.
meditating is a great way to practice mindfulness, and as with all mindfulness practices, it is best done with an objective focus. So if you want your mind to be clear, then meditating is the best way to do it.

I can’t say that I’m successful with it, but I do know that if I don’t deal with stress, I can’t function.
I like to use the word “prospet” as meaning “to have a plan or direction”. That is exactly what prospet does, it has a clear idea of what it is going to do, and so it can get started. If you have an idea of what you want it to accomplish, then you can make sure that you get started. If you don’t have a clear idea, you have to figure it out.
