If you’re a big bodybuilder, you probably know the feeling. You’ve gone from a full-strength workout to feeling like your body is made out of cardboard. That’s because you’re not doing your cardiovascular workout properly.
I know it can be hard to believe how much muscles it takes to lift a certain weight, but it really is true. If youre trying to build muscle this is the best way to do it. Its called the Anabolic window. During the anabolic window your body will continue to produce more muscle, but not at the rate youre used to. So youre not sacrificing any muscle mass, your body will continue to grow. It takes around 60 days of training to build muscle.
In just a few months, we’ll be hitting the Anabolic window.
The Anabolic window is a period of time in a body when you can build up muscle mass without sacrificing your physical health. During this period, your body will not produce as much of the anabolic hormones you need to build muscle. During the anabolic window, when youre not training, you may feel like youre going to crash and burn, but theres a better way of thinking about it.
In the anabolic window, youre not training, but youre not training hard either. By the time you hit the anabolic window, youre already pretty lean thanks to your training. Thats not to say youre not building muscle. In fact, you really should be training. Youre more likely to be building muscle when youre not training because youre more likely to be burning fat while doing so. If youre doing both, you get to build muscle fast.
To be honest, I think the best way to train is to train like a beast. Thats why I like The Beast in the Room, the best muscle builder Ive seen, and why you should really consider hitting the anabolic/catabolic window. Ive only been training for a year, but I feel like my training has been more focused on building muscle since taking this approach.
The second level of self-awareness is getting more and more into bodybuilding. I know for a fact that if you start a bodybuilding program and you begin with a big fat bodybuilder, you’ll start to get more and more fat. You may also start to have a sense of self-esteem. You may feel that your body is doing all right for you, but that’s not true.
Self-esteem is just that, a feeling that you have. But bodybuilders (like any other human being) tend to have a whole bunch of this negative self-esteem associated with the size of their body. To correct this, you may want to give up bodybuilding to get into a real bodybuilding program.
Like most of the other posts I’ve written, the answer to this question doesn’t seem to be a good one. I’ve probably written it hundreds of times, but I’m mostly interested in the answer to the question of what makes someone’s body feel heavier and more alive.
