I’ve had this problem for a while now and it actually started after I started using vicks vapor rub. I use it to help with tinnitus for a while now and I have to say it has been a life saver. I’m not using it in conjunction with my anti-inflammatories yet and I am on my second bottle of it. It helps a lot with hearing issues but I’ve also noticed a change in my tinnitus as well.

I know this is a bit of a personal preference issue but Ive been using a vapor rub for a while now, and its been more of a hassle than helping with tinnitus. The problem is the vapor rub not only contains an extremely concentrated amount of vapor, but is very thick, which takes a long time to get through the filter of a vapor rub.

I hope you didn’t mean to imply that there isnt a problem with vapor rubs… But it might be worth taking a look at your own habits.
