When I think of the word crook in the body, I think of a crooked neck, something that I may or may not have noticed due to my appearance. However, for me, this crook in the neck can have serious life-altering consequences. I was recently diagnosed with Crook’s Disease which is a disease that causes a person to have a crooked jaw, and it is common in the elderly.
The good news is that my crooked jaw can be corrected. While it may not cure Crooks Disease, the treatment will not permanently damage your mouth. However, the bad news is that this disease may eventually lead to something even more severe. The Crooks Disease progresses by slowly infecting the bone in your jaw, which then weakens it. This process can lead to complete loss of jaw function.
A study found that most people with Crooks Disease never have any serious problems, but the disease can cause some serious problems if left untreated. In fact, it’s been estimated that some Crooks Disease patients have their jaw muscles entirely replaced with titanium. This means that they can never lose their jaw function, and their jaw bone can grow back even with no functional movement.
There have been several cases of people who lost their jaw muscles completely because of the disease.
Most people with Crooks Disease only have the most minor forms of the disease. But if they don’t get treatment early, the disease can cause serious problems, including severe swelling and nerve damage, as well as extreme difficulty swallowing.
If they dont have it fixed early, they can lose the ability to eat and swallow for life. If they dont fix it early, they will literally go to pieces and die. These are the types of people who have been given the most pain and suffering because of Crooks Disease. It’s not a fun disease to live with, and the only way to have it cured is to have a person’s jaw replaced with titanium.
I remember reading about this on my way out of the hospital. My doctor had made me an appointment to visit a very prominent dentist on my way out of the hospital. He was in the waiting room when I got there, and I told him I had to stop. He said he had a patient who would be up to see him within the hour. A few minutes later, the man I had told him about turned up.
While the doctor and I talked, he got the impression that the patient was suffering from jaw cancer. The doctor told me he had sent him to have the tumor removed, and that he was doing it now. I asked him if he had any questions for me, and he told me he thought I should stop. “You’re not in any shape to be talking about this,” he said. I told him I was only asking because I didn’t want to bring up my problems again.
I tried to talk but he was staring into space. When I spoke to him, he said, “Aye, and you are the doctor. You have some information that might give you some direction for the future.
The doctor is clearly the authority figure in this situation. But that doesnt mean that he has any idea what he is doing. It also doesn’t mean he is wrong. Its more like he is a good person wanting to help. He still doesnt understand what he is doing is wrong.
