There isn’t a “right” way to do things. You may have done things a certain way for years, or you may use a certain system, but it isn’t necessary. The same goes for self-awareness. There are a lot of people out there that don’t understand how their habits impact others and how their actions affect the world around them.
Thats where the concept of self-awareness comes in. Many people believe that their habits are “normal” or “okay” because they’ve always done it that way. I think that’s really dangerous. Most people don’t realize that their habits can have an impact on the people around them, and that the things they do really do have a significant impact on the world around them.
The idea of self-awareness is that we can recognize our own actions and that we can choose to change them. So if your habit is to smoke cigarettes every day, you probably wont smoke cigarettes every day. But if you decide to stop smoking cigarettes for just a short while, you will find that you end up smoking cigarettes again.
The same holds true for the actions of people around you. The same can be said about our habits and how they impact the world around us.
One of the biggest reasons is that we are much more prone to self-awareness for external factors. But there are also some internal factors that have a much greater effect on our behavior. That has to do with our own biases.
I have to admit I didn’t really get much of an explanation of what local and systemic means. I went to a lot of seminars and online articles about it and I could only come up with some vague, general ideas. I’m not saying that’s a bad thing though. We should all just be self-aware about our own biases.
The idea is that we are much more likely to be self-aware about the things that are happening around us, and in other words, to be able to “see” and analyze the world around us. So while we want to “be self aware” in the sense that we want to change our behavior ourselves, that is really just a way of saying “we are self-aware”.
As it turns out, being self-aware means having the ability to look at our own world from a second-person perspective, so you can see things from someone else’s point of view. It has been argued that this ability may be the key to overcoming the problems of narcissism, but it’s not clear that it can be trained away.
Being self-aware means that you are able to look at the world from a third-person perspective. This is not just about being able to see things from someone else’s point of view, but it also means that you can see things from your own point of view, and that is just a way of saying you are self aware.
This does make a certain amount of sense, but the point is that if you can be self aware, you can see yourself from another’s point of view. You see yourself from the perspective of someone else’s mind. This is the self-awareness that comes from a process called “localization,” which is the act of seeing things from your own point of view, as opposed to seeing yourself from someone elses point of view.
