The opposite of bone loss is bone gain. And yes, the bone loss is actually the opposite, because at some point you start seeing bone loss. But bone gain is when you stop losing bone and you look like you’re getting stronger and healthier. It’s like you’re getting extra bone, but not enough of it. You can get plenty of bone and still look healthy, but not enough to be considered “strong.
